House Hunting
There are a lot of homes out there. How do you figure out which one is right for you? Start by getting familiar with the market. Drive around the areas you’re interested in and get an idea of what's available. Talk to friends, use the Internet, check out Community Newspapers – and of course communicate with Pearl about what you want and what you need, and also what you dislike.
If you visit open houses, let the open house agent know you are working with Pearl. That way there can be communication between them, if the house is of real interest to you now or may be somewhere down the line, she will be kept informed.
Pearl will work with you to expand or narrow your choices, making you fully aware of what your home-buying dollar will buy in various communities. Good investment choices sometimes require an emotional detachment and that can be hard if you are already feeling an emotional involment, so it is important to share your feelings about the house with her.
She will help you separate good options from those that are less-than-optimal, with information for you on the features and benefits of specific homes and their neighbourhoods. |
